When the next generation of the family arrived in 2015, the team shifted gear. The competitive rally programme paused for a few years and the workshop turned its attention to something a little more relaxed: a Land Rover Defender 110 Puma, built for green-laning and weekend trips around the UK.
Properly prepped, big tyres, plenty of clobber for a weekend in the hills. Same family, same workshop standards — just a different kind of motorsport for a different season of life.
The Defender bridged the gap between the 106’s competitive years and the current Mini R50 / Yaris GR programme.
