MSH Mini R50

The R50 was rescued as a partial build and finished from the ground up by the MSH family. We rewired the lot — the original loom turned out to be 240v house cable — fitted a Safety Devices 6-point weld-in cage to MSA spec, and built around an ex-John Cooper Works clubsport engine (serial 0035, 171 BHP at the wheels) with a DTA ECU and Jenvey throttle bodies.

GAZ Gold dampers all round, EBC brakes, Powerflex bushes everywhere they’ll fit. MSA-approved for Sprint, Hill Climb and Category 1 Stage Rallying. Flew through MOT with no advisories.
