MSH Rally Team was formed in the early 90’s but before that we started off from an early age as 2 brothers born and bred in Nottinghamshire AKA The Hill Brothers being shipped around by Mum and Dad on the rally scene from marshalling single venues all the way through to Lombard RAC rally’s.
As soon as we could drive, we bought our first night rally car which was a Mark II Escort 1.6 where we competed for a number of years on numerous night events throughout the country. We then progressed onto single venues rallies in the middle 90’s such as Swinderby, Mamby showground, Tywford, this was in the Peugeot 205 Rallye 1.3 left hand drive where we did reasonably well in class but found the car was a little underpowered for the weight ratio, we so moved onto a Peugeot 106 rallye 1.3.
The 106 was a fantastic little car, winning the following championships;
- 2nd in Class EMAMC Multi-use stage rally 2003
- Best Result in Yorkshire League 2006
- Hallam Star Best Results Overall 2007
- 1st in class 1 for Rainworth Skoda Multi use stage 2007
- 1st in class 1 for Rainworth Skoda Multi use stage 2008
- 2nd in class 1 for Rainworth Skoda Multi use stage 2009
In 2010 we started doing forest rally’s, in 2011 participating in the Dukeries we came 2nd in class followed by 3rd in class the following year. We also had good success during single venue events and this continued until my little boy Mason was born in 2015.
After Mason was born we as a team decided to take it a bit easier and go down the green laning road, building a defender 110 puma for green laning and small weekend expeditions around the UK.

The MSH Rally Team have fine tuned their rally car building skills over 20+ years – meaning the MSH Mini is a work of art, and an engineering marvel.
Family Roots
The entire MSH team are one big family, so not only is the MSH Mini a sight to be seen, its also made with love and dedication from the MSH Family.
